Story Notes:
There's a first time for everything.

Allelujah was startled when Tieria pressed warm lips against his. He had never been kissed before; in fact, he had never really been touched much at all, and he would venture to say the same went for Tieria.

How is this supposed to go? he thought. He parted his lips slightly, and Tieria followed suit.

They both moved at once, and instead of a kiss, they found themselves in a collision of teeth and lips and awkward mushed noses and glasses that probably should have been removed beforehand. Somehow, he didn't think they were doing it right. He could feel his face growing hot with embarassment. You're twenty years old, and you've never kissed anyone before, a voice that sounded suspiciously like Hallelujah's chided in his brain. Granted, Tieria seems to be new to this, too, but he's probably younger than you, which makes it even worse. He probably expects you to have experience. The faint fingernails of fear scratched at his belly. His heart seemed to have caught in his throat.

And I don't want to disappoint him, he thought, and shoved aside all hesitation.

Allelujah reached a hand up and cupped Tieria's cheek in his palm, fingers sliding underneath an ivory earlobe to tangle in his hair. Pulling the other boy closer, he tilted his head so that their noses aligned alongside one another- and everything else just clicked. It was just like he'd imagined it in the films: Tieria's soft lips, Tieria's smaller frame pressed against his body, Tieria's tongue against his, it all just fit. In that moment, nothing else seemed to exist.

This, thought Allelujah, is how you do it.
